Kathy Proudfoot has tremendous knowledge of the Newmarket-East Gwillimbury area having lived in these communities for the past thirty years. Currently Kathy is a resident of Holland Landing.
In 2004 Kathy was the recipient of the Celebration of Women’s Humanitarian Award for her outstanding contribution to charities and the peer support she provided to those with cancer.
An honorary spokesperson for Southlake Regional Health Centre, Kathy has devoted her energy to helping raise awareness of the hospitals services and needs. Kathy is on the Board of Directors for PalCare Network York Region , Co-Chair Taking Steps Against Breast Cancer, a Peer Support Convener Canadian Cancer Society and numerous other organizations including the Pickering College Association and Heart and Stroke.
